Psychologists assert
that people are the same
everywhere, differences
trivial compared to
prevalent similarities,
accents, beliefs, attributes,
practitioners of crime
preying on the weak, infirm,
elderly, the helpless,
the poor facing the same struggle
food to eat, a place to live,
a future for their children,
while the rich dwell in comfort
regardless of language,
regardless of country,
united in abundance,
united in luxury,
as everyone else struggles
for a basic existence.
